Stage 1: The Prologue 🚴🏻‍♂️🧠

17 Aug 2021

Hi!

How are you doing today? I’m typing this from my cozy seat on the train from Amsterdam to Berlin. I’ve just come off a momentous trip that led me to cover 1241 km by bike from Berlin to Amsterdam by bike. I followed the EuroVelo route in the last ten days, with an awful lot of intensity, as there was no day off the bike. It’s safe to say I’m pretty tired! I must say, even though it was worth it, I can highly recommend the EV2 route to all.

I’m also heading to Eurobike with N+1 in just a few weeks, and I am tempted to take a bike trip there too, but we will see. I’m excited and apprehensive. It’s been a long time since I last went to a trade show to network with so many people in one place. When I traveled to Barcelona in July, I caught Covid for the second time, so its safe to say it’s not easy for me and I’m definitely overthinking it.

Right anyway on to the content, I have some great things lined up to help you and some awesome cycling content to a company.

🎧 Podcast of the week

This weeks podcast is actually one that I was listening to while on my journey through Germany. In this episode, Mitch caught up with multiple South African champion, Ashleigh Moolman Pasio. They talked about her route into professional cycling, her QOM Strava record on the famous Rocacorba climb near Girona, and the challenge she set herself to get the best women's time below 30 minutes.

She also gave her own view of the Dutch performance at the Tokyo Olympics, I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
